Specialized Reconstructive & Aesthetic Care of the Eyes and Face
Oculofacial plastic surgery focuses on the delicate structures around the eyes the eyelids, orbit (eye socket), tear drainage system, and the surrounding face. Our surgeons bring advanced training in both ophthalmology and plastic surgery, allowing them to protect vision while restoring function and achieving natural-looking aesthetic results
At our multispecialty ambulatory surgery center, these procedures are performed in a modern, outpatient setting designed for safety, comfort, and same-day recovery. Whether you need reconstructive care after injury or disease, or you are seeking a refreshed appearance, we provide individualized, expert care.
What Is Oculofacial Plastic Surgery?
Also known as oculoplastic surgery, this specialty addresses both functional problems that affect comfort or vision and aesthetic concerns related to aging or appearance. Because the eyelids and surrounding tissues are essential to eye health, surgery in this area requires precise knowledge of ocular anatomy, tear film dynamics, and facial aesthetics.
Many patients benefit from procedures that improve both function and appearance in a single, carefully planned operation.

Reconstructive Procedures
Reconstructive surgery restores normal form and function after trauma, skin cancer removal, congenital conditions, or age-related changes that interfere with vision or comfort.
- Ptosis Repair — Corrects a drooping upper eyelid that may block vision or create a heavy, tired appearance.
- Ectropion & Entropion Repair — Repositions eyelids that turn outward (causing dryness) or inward (causing lashes to rub the eye).
- Tear Duct Surgery (DCR) — Opens blocked tear drainage pathways to relieve chronic tearing and reduce infection risk.
- Eyelid Reconstruction — Rebuilds eyelid structure and function after skin cancer (including Mohs) or other tissue loss.
- Orbital Surgery — Addresses fractures, tumors, thyroid eye disease, and other conditions affecting the eye socket.
- Trauma Repair — Restores eyelid, orbital, and periocular tissues after injury.
Aesthetic & Rejuvenation Procedures
Aesthetic procedures focus on a refreshed, natural appearance while preserving expression and protecting the eye. Modern techniques emphasize subtle, harmonious results.
Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Lift)
Removes or repositions excess skin, muscle, and fat from the upper and/or lower eyelids. Upper blepharoplasty can improve peripheral vision when excess skin obstructs the visual field. Incisions are placed in natural creases or inside the lower lid for discreet scars.
Brow Lift
Elevates a descended brow that contributes to upper-lid heaviness or forehead lines. Often combined with blepharoplasty for balanced upper-face rejuvenation.
Midface Lift & Facelift Techniques
Oculofacial surgeons are uniquely trained to address the midface (cheek) and the transition between the lower eyelid and cheek. A midface lift elevates descended soft tissues, softens the tear trough, and improves the lower lid cheek contour. Selected patients may also benefit from limited or full facelift approaches that tighten the lower face while carefully protecting periocular structures. These procedures are frequently coordinated with eyelid surgery for comprehensive, natural results.
Laser Skin Resurfacing
Ablative lasers (such as CO2 or erbium) precisely treat sun damaged or wrinkled skin while stimulating collagen remodeling. Laser resurfacing is often combined with blepharoplasty or facelift procedures to improve fine lines, texture, and overall skin quality around the eyes and face. Recovery includes a period of redness and diligent sun protection, with progressive improvement over several months.
